Richard J. Goddeau bought his ATV in late February of 2008, and with the assistance of a close and trusted friend, rides an ATV independently.

Goddeau had a two way radio and communications device installed on the ATV and also in his friend’s ATV, and speakers and boom microphones installed into the helmets. When Richard Goddeau Global Software Inc Www.gscsc.net Richard Goddeau wants to ride, he and his friend gear up, prepare the ATV vehicles for riding, gas up, and hit the trails, or fields for fun. Richard Goddeau and his friend Phil communicate with the two way radios, and Richard’s friend gives him step-by-step directions for turning, stopping, moving from one cross road to another, and much more.

Most people think that a disability keeps the person unable to do things that most of us can do with sight, but Richard Goddeau makes things happen by adapting to his environment, and very quickly at that. Even though he uses a guide dog, Richard J. Goddeau Global Software Inc Www.gscsc.net Richard Goddeau is able to get around with and without the dog, and he has outstanding orientation and mobility skills.
“You just need to have a good sense of directions, know your surroundings, and just plain and simple, can’t be afraid of everything that you can’t see.”, states Mr. Richard J.
