This also brings to mind personal credit repair. Everyone needs to understand clearly that paying your bills, negotiating payments with creditors, and building personal credit over time is the only way to do it properly. Adding aged or seasoned accounts to your personal credit profile is not going to work. The accounts must be new, and reported as such on the date that they are first established. The credit bureaus know about these outdated credit repair strategies, and you won’t get away with anything. And, just because you can get negative items removed, does not mean that you don’t have an obligation to your creditors. Time is your best friend when it comes to personal credit repair. If you are going to do this, do it the right way, and legally.
